About RIMM, the Integral Fibroid Management Network
We are a multidisciplinary network of professionals in the diagnosis and treatment of uterine fibroids, integrated by gynecologists, radiologists, surgeons, and Reproductive Medicine (fertility) specialists. Such network has been created to offer an integral solution to the problems posed by uterine myomatosis.
We have set ourselves up as a network in order to cover an absent spot in the supply of this type of service in Mexico and Latin America: The provision of an integral solution to the problem of uterine fibroids.
We are committed to each of our patients, offering them the most convenient solution from a professional standpoint, based on the best of diagnostic modalities available: Magnetic Resonance (MR) imaging.
We start from a vision that is inclusive. For this reason we have devised a proposal that can be tailored to the widest variety of personal preferences and socioeconomic situations. Our goal is delivering the most optimal solution to as many women as possible who suffer from uterine fibroids.
We uphold and abide by a professional ethic stand: Since our commitment is providing an effective solution for uterine fibroids, we work jointly with the treating physician of each patient, either by delivering the diagnosis or by providing high specialization services, such as thermal ablation, interventional radiology, or advanced laparoscopic or hysteroscopic surgery, when required.
Only in the cases that a patient does not have a treating doctor of her own, we shall suggest a specialist from our Network who is an expert in the choice of treatment recommended to her.
The diagnosis is conducted at our Magnetic Resonance Imaging Unit, which has been operating for 18 years within the facilities of Médica Sur hospital, one of the most renowned health institutions in Mexico.
The professional members of the Integral Fibroid Management Network are leaders who are certified in their corresponding field of specialization, have a longstanding experience, and carry out their profession both in the public health sector and at different private medical institutions.
