Developing fibroids is more common than you think.

Approximately one in five women between 30 and 50 years of age suffer from fibroids. And although they are common, there aren’t two identical cases of fibroids, just as there isn’t only one solution for all fibroids.

This is why we created the Integral Fibroid Management Network, a single point where, no matter what your case is, we offer you the best diagnosis and the most adequate treatment.

Everything starts with the diagnosis

The first stage in treating your fibroids consists in having the most precise diagnostic study available performed, a Magnetic Resonance (MR) scan of your lower abdomen. This comprises 3 simple steps:

1.- You go to your MR imaging appointment, where:

  • We record your medical history and preferences.
  • We perform a MR imaging scan of your lower abdomen.

Magnetic Resonance imaging is the most precise method available for diagnosing your fibroids and checking the organs and structures in your pelvis.

2.- Your case is evaluated.

A medical council made up of gynecologists, radiologists, and surgeons studies and evaluates your case.

They jointly establish a diagnosis and propose the therapeutic solution that suits both your case and preferences best.

3.- We return your results.

  • In a personal consultation with a specialist.
  • Where we explain to you the recommendable choice of treatment and your case details.
  • If you do not have a treating physician we can refer you to a medical expert specialized in the choice of treatment that is the most adequate for you.

Magnetic Resonance scanning is the most precise method to diagnose your fibroids and to check the condition of the surrounding organs and structures. Click here if you want to know more about the diagnostic through magnetic resonance.
